Lunches
Mrs Harker, our school cook, provides a healthy and delicious lunch each day. All school meals are freshly made on site in our school kitchen with fresh locally sourced ingredients.
Children are able to choose a hot meal or school packed lunch.
As we are keen to reduce the amount of waste that we produce (particularly our single-use plastics), we will be serving our sandwiches on trays rather than in individual bags. This will allow us to add sides if children would like them and also to offer them one of the puddings available each day. Fruit, yoghurt along with cheese and crackers will also be available.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are offered a school meal at no charge as funding is currently provided by the Government.
For children in Key Stage 2, meals cost £2.30 per day. Payment for meals can be made via ParentPay (a letter will be sent to you giving you a username and password).
Menus are in place for approximately a term. Before the beginning of the term, you will be sent a link to complete with your child's choices for each day.
You can download and print a 'lunch menu choices' form here.
You are welcome to choose a mixture of packed lunches from home and school lunches. Changes can be made to a child’s menu at any time; Please contact the school office to make any changes to your child’s menu choice.
Alternatively, you can provide a packed lunch for your child. We are a 'Healthy School' and ask for your support with this. Please click here to see our 'Healthy Packed Lunch Policy' and here for our handy leaflet for parents.
