Computing
Miss Bennett leads Computing in our school. She is also our Cyber Champion.
For children to safely steer the digital world, we need to instil the confidence to traverse technology.
Our children are growing up in a technologically advanced age. We want to provide children with the essential skills to be able to navigate this world successfully. Our children access technology from an early age. We feel it is important to allow children the opportunity to branch out safely in what they access and different ways that technology and computer science can be used.
At Heighington, we love Computing!
Below, you will find our computing coverage. You will see a lot of 'real world' skills are woven into our lessons - we want to make teaching relevant and useful to enable our children to have the best footing after primary. We have expectations of what each child should achieve by the end of an academic year.
